This significant grant fund is a first of its kind in New Zealand and will provide finance to eligible productions that choose to film in the picturesque Canterbury & West Coast regions.
Applications from productions with a range of budgets are encouraged to apply, including those with a Canterbury spend of less than $1m. Applications to be submitted to SCNZ by 30 June 2023. An announcement about the projects awarded the grant will be made by 28 July.
