Support the Boosted campaign for Shirley Horrocks' doco on Kiwi musical icon

Here's a wonderful cause that needs a financial Boost within the next two weeks! Award-winning documentary maker Shirley Horrocks aims to tell the important story of one New Zealand’s top musical artists – the much-loved singer and composer Don McGlashan. Over four decades Don has created many iconic songs (Dominion Road, Anchor Me, Don’t Fight It Marsha, White Valiant, Bathe in the River), survived many personal challenges, and continues to produce great music, yet this will be the first in-depth documentary about him.

Some filming has been done but Shirley and her team need to raise more funds to get the whole project over the line. They also need to carry on filming so they don’t miss crucial events in Don’s extraordinary and eventful life. The beauty of a Boosted campaign is that contributions can be of any size from small to as large as you like. But... if the campaign doesn’t raise the whole $30,000 they get nothing.

The campaign has just two weeks to go – please click here to give Shirley's doco a financial Boost

Check out the doco's teaser trailer, made by Tim Woodhouse.
