The Moon Is Upside Down world premieres in Talinn

Exciting news for producers Georgina Conder and Philippa Campbell: their latest feature The Moon is Upside Down is world premiering at the 2023 PÖFF Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival which runs 3-9 November! The film will screen in the First Feature Competition, a collection of first films of promising talents. The directorial debut of Loren Taylor, who also wrote the screenplay, the film follows three women - a duped mail-order bride, a numbed anaesthetist determined to have a romantic weekend, and an empty nester on an unexpected mission of mercy - as each navigates her way through an unfamiliar landscape and the contours of the human heart.

PÖFF describes the film as “a must-watch, a thought-provoking examination of connection, loneliness, and the unpredictable twists of fate" and "an uproarious and cleverly dark-humoured rollercoaster.”

Being selected for PÖFF is not to be taken lightly as it is one of the 15 A-list festivals accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Association, alongside Cannes, Venice, and other world-renowned festivals.
