No Māori Allowed has won the Grand Jury Prize at FIFO in Tahiti, Best Documentary at the Dili International Film Festival and has now been selected for the Hawai’i International Film Festival and imagiNATIVE festival in Toronto both next month.
The 45-minute documentary shares the stories of kaumātua from Pukekohe, who are now in their 70s, who tell their stories of segregation in the town, for the first time.
