‘Put a Baby in Me’ receives early development funding

Congratulations to the team of queer motherhood feature film Put a Baby in Me for their selection for early development funding from the New Zealand Film Commission to write the second draft of their script!

Clucky as f*@k and crushed when she miscarries, a young woman’s battle to have kids with her trans wife almost burns down the family she already has.

The first draft was funded with an NZWG Seed Grant. They were also selected to be a case study as part of Proud Voices on Screen's Queer Screen Development Toolkit, receiving a funded table read and queer consultancy panel.

We look forward to seeing the evolution of this project! All the best with the next draft!
