In Wellington, Monday, 8 July, at 6pm, Write Room is hosting a panel discussion on Screenwriting Partnerships with established filmmakers Rob Sarkies and Duncan Sarkies who have collaborated on numerous projects including Scarfies and Two Little Boys and emerging team Amelia Addis and Ebed Pohl who are the 2024 residents on the Write Room programme.
Write Room founder Vicky Pope (Savage, Gardening with Soul) will join the panel to discuss the process of mentoring writers through the program, and their perspective as readers of the applications that come in each year.
This is a great chance to gather as a community and connect with one another to hear about the strengths of creative collaboration in screenwriting. At the same time, this is an opportunity to learn about 2025 Write Room Screenwriters Residency.
