Have you heard of Snap Shot Shorts? If you haven't, now is the time!
WIFT member, and Massey graduate, Elizabeth Hodgson, independently produces Snap Shot Shorts a Wellington-based series with the goal of creating monthly short films that fall within the 1-15 minute mark. BY the end of Season One, they have filmed and released 12 short films in 18 months, established an operations team of 13, and built a community of 250+ young filmmakers, 100+ actors and many other graphic designers, artists and composers!
And, at the end of July, they are hosting a Finale screening to spread the word about what they do, celebrating all who were involved and fundraising for Season Two!
This showcase provides us with the opportunity to present the amazing work we all have done over the course of season one of Snap Shot Shorts to a wider audience.
They are particularly keen to partner with the different guilds of the creative community in New Zealand to extend an invite to the event to see what the next generation of filmmakers are working on and offer discounted tickets for guild members!
They are offering a discount for tickets for WIFT members. General admission is $25 and for you, $18.50. So, this is the perfect opportunity to get out and get involved in this creative movement taking place in Wellington.
