The War is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko a short, animated film in which WIFT member, Sophie Cherry was a producer on, has won an Academy Award at the 96th Oscars® this year! Congratulations to Sophie and everyone in this team. The project was directed by Dave Mullins, produced by Brad Booker, and Executive Produced by Sean Ono Lennon.
'Film making is a team sport and I was honoured to represent our War is Over Wētā FX team on the biggest night of the film making calendar. It was an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. It was particularly special to share it with the incredibly talented Keith Miller, VFX Supervisor Wētā FX. Attending the Vanity Fair after party was certainly the most out of body moment of my life and we definitely made the most of it.' - Sophie Cherry
