Our Party is a contemporary adaptation of the celebrated classic story The Garden Party by Katherine Mansfield. This project is produced by WIFT member, Jill Macnab, and directed by Joshua Prendeville.
Our Party is a short film that tells the story of 18-year-old Laura as she prepares her opulent family home for a party. Sudden news of a neighbourhood tragedy confronts her with a reality from which she has been sheltered by her privileged life.
Jill shared, "it's exciting to be adapting such a classic NZ story for the modern day screen!" She also shared their are some exciting cast announcements to come.
