Congratulations to Alison Rayner, WIFT NZ member, currently based in UK, who was selected for the prestigious WFTV Kay Mellor Screenwriters' Lab, sponsored by Miss Scarlet Limited.
She shared, "It was a fantastic week of learning and sharing and I’ve come away feeling validated, invigorated and inspired! As always, I’m looking for opportunities to share my work with NZ producers and directors and I'm happy to work with them on their ideas if they're looking to collaborate."
The lab, an annual event dedicated to nurturing and empowering female screenwriters, took place at the renowned Arvon centre The Hurst in Shropshire. They brought together 13 emerging writers for a week of intensive workshops, mentorship, and industry insight.
