Film Bay of Plenty extends heartfelt thanks to Sharon Menzies as she departs from their Board following her appointment to the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) Board of Directors. NZFC shared, “Renowned for being a strong advocate of the film industry, she brings over 25 years of expertise specialising in film financing across Aotearoa/New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. As Sharon joins the Board as an active member of the film industry, a robust Conflict of Interest management plan will be put in place, according to policy.”
This news follows the recent farewell to Sandra Kailahi and Ant Timpson, who were thanked for their six years of dedicated service, support, and guidance on the NZFC Board.
Film Bay of Plenty also welcomed Kelly Martin, CEO of South Pacific Pictures, as their interim Chair.
We warmly congratulate those stepping into new chapters, and offer our sincere gratitude to all who continue to shape and strengthen our industry.
