Day One Shorts 2026 seeks diverse emerging directors without prior NZ On Air, Te Māngai Pāho or NZ Film Commission production funding. Directors must be either 18–29 or apply under the 30+ sub-category. They will also be funding at least 2 films with 50% Te Reo Māori.
