Congratulations to WIFT members, Isla Macleod and Maddie Dai for their selection into the A Wave in the Ocean 2025 intensive under the guidance of Jane Campion.
This is a 15 week film intensive, intended as a place of learning, and experience. It is based on the belief that each filmmaker has a sacred psyche that dreams to express itself poetically, humorously, and dramatically through visual storytelling. The intention is to create a space where risk and ambition are playmates, honoured and respected, a place where curiosity and inquiry is never ending and persistence and hard work shape intuition and outcomes.
