Don't launches this week

Congratulations to the entire team behind Greenstone TV’s hilarious new series Don’t, a hilarious and refreshingly new 3-part series chock full of surprising information, looking at whether the status quo of marriage, buying a home and having children is still relevant in this day and age. This project was made by an all-female crew and production team, and a whole lotta WIFT members!

All three episodes launch on TVNZ + this Thursday, May 29th.

Comedian Bubbah Olo is looking down the barrel of turning 30. The big questions about life goals - marriage, kids and property - have ambushed her sleep, twisting her dreams. She’s not alone. It’s 2025 and the world has changed.

In DON’T, Bubbah’s on a mission to face adulting head on, feel the feels and find answers for herself, for her friends and for rangatahi across the motu. Every episode, Bubbah teams up with a fellow comedian who’s ballsy enough to go deep with her on the most pressing life choices. Together they put themselves on the line, take it to the streets and track down the real experts on living the dream in Aotearoa today.

Don't is a series grounded in answering some pressing social questions but we really didn't want it to feel dusty or dull. It's full of play and laughter and it gets a bit bonkers so in the end we thought the best description of it is COMEDY WITH FACTS. The show was helmed by a pretty awesome bunch of strong creative women!” Alex Reed - Producer

Don’t is an actual factual comedy with facts. It is terribly important that this is not confused with a factual comedy with facts. It stars Bubbah who is Tina from Turners - also terribly important she is not confused with the late Tina Turner. Don't is made by a tiny team of WIFTIES not to be confused with Swifties - although if they are, that is their choice. Oh, and one male editor - put that bit in small print. Thanks for your understanding.” Aidee Walker – Director

Don’t is sane and insane, factual and funny and stressful and extremely satisfying. Enjoy!
