Attention all WIFT filmmakers, NZ On Air is pleased to be hosting a New Music Pan-Asian funding webinar, which they will be holding on Monday 30 March from 5-6pm, ahead of the round opening on Thursday 9 April.
In this informal and interactive online session, the team will be on hand to share some helpful advice and information about the New Music Pan-Asian funding stream – plus answer any other questions you may have. So feel free to head along, have a listen and ask away!
For this session, the webinar will feature the hugely experienced Savina Fountain (she’s the General Manager at BIG FAN), as well as hear first-hand from New Music Pan-Asian 2025 funding recipient Yogi.
NZ On Air hopes this webinar will be a great opportunity for those of you looking to apply for New Music Pan-Asian funding to connect with each other in a warm and welcoming group learning environment. Even if you have applied before or are a potential new applicant, all are welcome.
Funding of up to $11,000 (including the mandatory Artist Creation Fee) is available to put towards the costs of recording a single song, creating video content and other visual collateral, and putting resources towards promotion, publicity and marketing for the single release.
