LA-based kiwi hairstylist Jaime Leigh has won an Emmy for her outstanding work on Apple TV show Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
Leigh was nominated previously in 2022 for The First Lady.
"The team behind Margo’s Got Money Troubles took home Emmys for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes for a Series, Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling and Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), highlighting the collaborative work required to establish a show’s visual identity. Costume designer Mirren Gordon-Crozier and her team, as well as hairstyling and makeup artists including Jaime Leigh McIntosh and Erin Ayanian Monroe and their respective teams, were among those recognized."

The sought-after hairstylist has worked with everyone from Michelle Pfeiffer and Margot Robbie to Brad Pitt and Florence Pugh, and on films Babylon, Black Panther and Avatar: Fire and Ash among many others.
She was recently back in Aotearoa at the request of Pugh, to work with her on the upcoming Netflix show East of Eden which was shot in NZ.
