If you're looking to finance your next project, meet the people who can make it happen at this year’s 37°South Market at MIFF.
Applications are now open for the 19th edition of 37°South Market, which brings the global screen-financing marketplace to the heart of Melbourne. The core focus of this selective event is giving producers the opportunity to pitch script-stage film and television projects to potential co-financiers.
From 6–9 August 2026, Australian creatives with slates of script-stage film and TV projects will meet key international co-financiers through curated one-to-one meetings, roundtables and networking events designed to advance project financing.
The market also features buyer screenings; dedicated modules for publishers and IP owners pitching manuscripts and creative assets for screen adaptation, as well as writers pitching screenplays to producers; and a program of panel discussions.
Attend the market and present your projects to influential buyers and financiers. Past participants have included executives from 30West, Amazon, Anton, AGC Studios, Apple TV+, Black Label, BBC, Bankside Films, CAA, Charades, Cornerstone, Embankment Films, Federation Studios, FilmNation, HanWay Films, IFC, Miramax, mK2, Mubi, Neon, Netflix, Paramount Pictures, Pathé, Plan B Entertainment and WME, among others.
Whether you’re pitching or sourcing your next project, don’t miss 37°South Market – the Southern Hemisphere’s leading curated screen finance market.
