If anyone is starting out in film and wants a break, Voices with Impact is a great opportunity to create a five minute film on a global stage with fabulous mentors and a US $10k grant, plus a trip to the global premiere.
This year's line up includes the first project from New Zealand - a short film called The NightMea - about kiwi boxer Mea Motu and how she escaped partner violence.
The film is directed by Corinna Hunziker who is just back from Vancouver premiere, and produced by Wifties Stacey Murdoch and Megan Jones. It was shot by Jake Bryant and edited by Dion Schmidt.
