Choir Games - the four part TV series from award-winning filmmaker and Wiftie Leanne Pooley's Spacific Films will be screening at SeriesFest in May.
Often referred to as the ‘Sundance of TV’ with huge hit shows like Yellowstone and Mr Robot launching there, SeriesFest is considered one of the top television festivals in the U.S. Choir Games is one of just eight unscripted programmes in competition with Pooley in attendance.
An uplifting docuseries about the power of music to change lives, the show follows two choirs - one from New York City and one from Kaitaia - as they take part in The World Choir Games, which was held in Aotearoa in 2024.
