Two fresh local shows are now in front of kiwi audiences and complete with WIFT creatives driving them.
Crack-up comedy New Zealand Spy, produced by award-winning Wiftie Bronwynn Bakker has landed on TVNZ.
New Zealand's newest spies - and the only three who applied - are tasked with protecting our nation from incoming threats, most notably those noisy neighbours in Australia. Starring Rose Matafeo, Paul Williams, Bret McKenzie and Joe Thomas and made with the support of NZ On Air.
Anothew new series Stalked has been released on Sky Open and NEON, EP’d by WIFT member Hayley Cunningham. Jazz Thornton fronts this three-part docuseries exposing systemic failures that led to landmark changes to New Zealand’s Crimes Act.
Across three gripping episodes, Stalked presents the experiences of women from across Aotearoa whose lives were profoundly affected by stalking, shining an unflinching light on the early warning signs of stalking, the patterns of obsession and escalation, and the systemic failings that have left victims unprotected, often until violence erupts.
All three episodes are now available to watch and CLICK HERE to watch the trailer.
