Snap Shot Shorts, the independent short film series, has returned with a highly anticipated Season Two.
Aiming to bridge the gap between young filmmakers and the film industry via monthly short films, Snap Shot has been upskilling creatives within the Wellington region since 2022.
For young filmmakers, Snap Shot Shorts has come to be a space for learning, networking and skilling up. For co-founders, Elizabeth Hodgson and Shayden Lowrey, Snap Shot Shorts has grown to become something bigger than they’d ever imagined, a lively film community currently moulding their own film industry.
During the past 12 months, over 200 Wellington cast and crew have come together to produce six short films. From a dark sci-fi thriller to a ominous late night talk show and everything in between, the films are now ready to be shared with the world.
The team at Snap Shot Shorts invites WIFT members to come along to the S2 Premiere to celebrate our incredible filmmakers and support the independent filmmaking scene.
