Producers and content creators working in all science and non-fiction media are encouraged to apply for this programme, including those working in digital media, social media and gaming. The Programme offers up-and-coming producers and content creators working in science, history, wildlife and non-fiction media a range of support, including accreditation and networking opportunities for the 2023 World Congress of Science and Factual Producers , presented by the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP).

The Write Room is seeking applicants for a producer internship position on the The Write Room programme, for emerging producers interested in up-skilling in feature film development. The internship runs part time from 10 June - March 2022, and is in Wellington.

A stipend of $1500 will be awarded for this internship.

Each year the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers (WCSFP) presents an invaluable conference for producers, broadcasters and distributors working in science, history and content-rich factual media. This year's event will take place from December 5 to 8 2016, in Stockholm, Sweden.

Of particular interest to WIFT members will be the  Emerging Producers Bursary Program, which offers up-and-coming producers with a range for financial support for registration, travel and accommodation for the WCSFP, plus guaranteed meetings and networking opportunities.
