The Manukau Film Festival kicked off yesterday, 18 October, as part of the Manukau Festival of Arts. This year it will present films concerned with New Zealand's cultural diversity. As well as showcasing the achievements of local film makers - Home by Christmas and Boy - this year the Festival will also feature a great collection of international titles.
And - the Festival will close with a FREE family screening of Ponyo on 31st October.
